An actor is a person who utterly convinces people of who or what he chooses to be in any given moment. By this definition, Ken Duken is the paragon of an actor. I almost wouldn’t have reçognized the man yestereve in POLIZEIRUF 110: SMOKE ON THE WATER, where he played a delightfully villainous politician. Loved him as Viking Skald Thorald (what Celts would refer to as Bard) in NORTHMEN – A VIKING SAGA – Gods, the man speaks perfect English. And I’m looking forward to seeing him in FRAU MÜLLER MUSS WEG. Since I got to interview him at 10. Zurich Film Festival, he seriously IS on my radar (well, he already was before, but now he’s right in the crosshairs). Way to go, Mr. Duken!
