Short films, 7 of them, crafted in all kinds of ways, from stop motion to animated, from black and white mega zoom to big-screen film in at least two acts. At a certain point I asked myself: What exactly defines a short film? Wikipedia tells me that there’s no real definition other than length. Well ….
Are Swedish short films any different and/or better than those from other countries? Nope. Are they exclusively about Swedish topics? Nope. So what am I describing here exactly? That there are many ways to tell a story, many ways to cast it into pictures. At the end I expect a story to be three things:

I found myself leaving the screening room craving for some Hollywood blockbuster (preferably starring a handsome Swede who doesn’t wear much more than his shorts).
