KAUWBOY, a film about life and death

cinema for 9year old children ... assisted by a media pedagogics expert

The ALPINALE short film festival shows full length films too: for children, with the special assistance of Stefanie Seidel, a specialist in theatre and media pedagogics. A much needed assistance, as KAUWBOY (NL, 2012, director: Boudewijn Koole) is about life and death. A young boy and his father need to come to grips with loss, and it is a little bird, which the boy takes in against his father’s will, who brings father and son together again, in a very unexpected way. Stefanie Seidel asked the children to watch out for matches and what they symbolize … try it yourself, you’ll be surprised by the answers.
